About Me
My name is Declan Randles. I was born in Blackburn, England, but moved to Wrexham when I was just two years old. Although I’m not originally from Wrexham, it’s the only place I can truly call home, and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of the Wrexham City.
My journey into photography began in 2022 when I stumbled upon a YouTuber Called Darrell Oaks. His ingenious bird hide setups captivated me, and I spent the next three years exploring various locations around Wrexham to photograph local birdlife Whilst also creating my own backyard bird station perfect for feeding them whilst also getting some incredible shots. This period taught me the crucial skills of patience and observing animal behavior, which allowed me to capture fleeting moments of storytelling in the blink of an eye.
By August 2025, a new inspiration struck me when I discovered a TikTok creator who filmed himself taking candid pet portraits on the street. The genuine happiness those images conveyed sparked a realization that I wanted to document the animals that share our daily lives and homes.
Since transitioning to pet photography, I’ve dedicated my energy to dogs and cats, building a thriving business from this passion. My goal for every session is to preserve the deep connection between you and your pet, creating timeless artwork that will serve as a beautiful addition to your home for years to come.
